Jiva Honoured Again with National School Excellence Award
It was an atmosphere of exuberance and excitement for Jiva to be honouredwith the National School of Excellence Award, again for the second consecutive year, commemorated by Brainfeed during the sixth national conference held at Dayalbag J.P. Palace Hotel Agra. It was a proud privilege for the Jiva Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan to receive the Award respectively in the category of Innovative Practices, STEM Education Community and Collaboration, School for attaining excellence in growth and enhancement of School Education prioritizing the 21st Century demands of future leaders.
Brainfeed organizes the National Conference every year and it is Jiva’s pride to find an esteemed place amongst the top 500 schools in India. The conference was graced by many renowned guests, who are known for their noble contributions. The Chief Guest was Prof. Prem Kumar Kalra the chairman of a famous Educational Institute at Dayalbag. It was also graced by Senior Division Security Commissioner Railway Police Mohd. Shahdanzeb Khan and ShriChanderShekharRao Scientist Institute of Atomic Energy [Govt. of India] had conferred the award to Jiva Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan.
It is a matter of great pride for Jiva Public School that it is selected and honoured as the Top School North Zone at National level.
Jubiliation at Jiva on Result Day
The premises at Jiva wasmarked with exuberance and jubilation when CISCE had declared the results for ISC and ICSE on 7th May. A total of 136 students had appeared for the Board Examination wherein 56 students appeared for ISC and 80 students for ICSE. Once again the school was proud of its 100% result. The school is one of the oldest affiliated to the Council, New Delhi. The school emphasizes in quality academics and puts in the hard endeavours all through the year which finally bear fruits of success eventually. The Jivites danced and reveled to the tune of their result with sweets and pics. In ISC Science stream Sonia Yadav topped with 94% and AkankshaPandey 92% was second.In ICSE Science stream AbhilashaNeogi scored 96.3 and topped it, where as in Commerce Dhanistha with 94% stood first.The names of the students who scored 90 and above in ISC examination across the subjects are:- English – Sonia Yadav 94, KaveriPathak 93, Akanksha and Priyanka 91, khushi Gupta 90

SVEEP Awareness Through Cycle Rally at Jiva
The Deputy Commissioner Faridabad had organized a conscious awareness of SVEEP by flagging off a Cycle Rally from the school’s premises. It was an earnest effort of District Administration to motivate people to utilize their right to franchise wisely. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Faridabad A.D.C.ShriDharmendra Singh. He was accompanied by the District Nodal Officer Shri M.P. Singh, S.D.O.ShriJitendra Singh, Secretary Red Cross ShriVikas Kumar and ShriPurushotam.
Jiva is the only school where the Traffic Team students actively participate throughout the year and serve community by creating awareness to follow traffic rules. In today’s Cycle Rally the students wearing helmet, went around the entire Sector 21, and made people aware about the significance of their right to vote.
The ADC ShriDharmendra Singh appointed by the Election Commission, addressed the students and stated that people should realize the importance of their vote and cast it wisely to elect an upright and honest candidate. He further said that during elections, it has been observed that votes are cast to a certain extent of 60 to 70 percent only. He extoled the students asking them to inspire their parents and people in their surroundings to cast their vote. The occasion was also addressed by Jiva Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, who said that unlike our fundamental Rights we have our Fundamental Duties too, and utilizing our vote to right is one such duty, so that we elect a sincere and honest representative to direct our country.
Exemplary PTM Blends with Cultural Entertainment at Jiva
The school had organized an exemplary PTM coordinating with a cultural programme on the same day. The objective of this programme was to showcase the holistic development of students, so that the parents acknowledge the potentials of their wards. This would help them to be successful in future and carve a niche for themselves in society. The programme commenced with a welcome song, followed by instrumental music by a group of students. This reflects that every student is unique and possesses a specific talent that needs to be carefully nurtured. The school caters and helps to pursue such potentials in students.
The occasion bestowed honours on those students and parents who had actively participated in India in Action programme. Their names are – Class IX Palak’s parents Ms. Promila and Mr. Hemraj, class VI YashikaChoudhary’s parents Ms. Neha and Mr. Amardeep, class X Nikita Gola’s parent MrSubhash, class X Prateekraj’s parent Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Gautam Sharma’s parent Ms. Geeta Sharma, class VIII Lavanya’s parent Mr. Rajesh and class VII student Bhumi’s parent Mr. Yatendra. This is the only school where the students, teachers and parents get together to work and serve the society. They intimate people about traffic rules and appeal masses to follow the rules strictly
Staff Conferred Service Award on Foundation Day
The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee on 6 February 2019 through a journey of glorious 25 years. These years have marked Jiva’s name in society for imparting quality global education for the holistic development of each pupil, integrity and empathetic contribution to make the society a healthy, wealthy and peaceful place to live in.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. ChanderLata Chauhan, Administrator Mrs. MuktaSachdeva, Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam, School Coordinators and the Young Directors of the Institute ShriMadhusudan Chauhan, Mrs. Kajal Chauhan, Mrs. Meenakshi, Mrs. Neerja& Director Dr. Pratap Chauhan, followed by enthralling colourful presentation on stage, that represented an amalgamation of art and culture, music and entertainment. The stage presentation as exemplary and based on the philosophies of the school like DKN, SOE and Swadhyay. These philosophies empower the pupils with strength and confidence and give direction to choose what is upright. The Achievements of 25 years were read out amidst loud applause. Dr. Pratap Chauhan high lighted the significance of Ayurveda and positive thoughts and attitude. The sports students representing the school at National and District level were awarded too. The faculty was also awarded for their remarkable contribution in academics. The Service Awards were conferred to teachers completing a tenure of 5 years, 10 years and 20 years of service in school.The staff was also conferred with Board Result Excellence Award and Service Appreciation Award for their hard endeavours and contribution.
Rishi Pal Chauhan is the founder-president of Jiva Institute of Vedic Sciences, a non-profit
organization that runs the Jiva Public School.

Director : Steven Rudolph
Steven Rudolph (M.Ed., Temple University) is an American educator and one of the founding directors of Jiva. Rudolph is a pioneer in educational methodologies and technology in India that combine Vedic wisdom with latest Western concepts.
He co-established the Jiva Public School and developed a holistic curriculum called ICOT (India's Curriculum of Tomorrow). He has conducted hundreds of educational workshops for parents and teachers and is credited to developing the pioneering Theory of Multiple Natures.
He has provided educational consulting to the World Bank, UNESCO, Apple Computer, Microsoft, Intel, and Indian bodies such as the NCERT, the CBSE, the ICSE Board, and the MHRD.
Director : Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan
Chander Lata Chauhan has had a chequered experience with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, before she decided to join as the Principal of Jiva Public School over ten years ago.
She is noted for her excellence in interpersonal and administrative skills, which are critical to ensuring all of our innovative programs are successfully integrated and maintained. Mrs. Chauhan constantly finds new ways to keep the school on the forefront of learning, while carefully ensuring that the values and traditions of India are maintained.
